If I’ve already renewed a myfamily.com 1.0 site for the coming year, what will happen to the remainder of my payment if I choose to migrate my site to the 2.0 system? 

If you choose to migrate your 1.0 site to 2.0, the remaining subscription amount from your 1.0 site will be refunded. Your 2.0 site will then begin a new annual subscription comparable to your 1.0 site subscription.
