How do I uninstall the Power Uploader on Internet Explorer?

Occassionally, there are problems with the Power Uploader feature on Internet Explorer. The following steps can be taken to remove the Power Uploader. After removing the uploader, returning to an upload page will reinstall the control.

1. Click on Tools in the menu area, then click on Internet Options

2. On the Internet Options screen, make sure the General tab is selected then click the Settings button found in the Browsing History area.




3. Within the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings dialog, click on the View Objects button.




4. Locate the program file called “Image Uploader Control” from the list of downloaded program files.

5. Right click on the “Image Uploader Control” and select Remove.
