How do I view the status of invitations that have already been sent? 

You can view the status of your site invitations by clicking on the 'Pending Invites' link found in the 'People' section. From this page, you can also cancel invitations or resend them. Depending on the site's Invitation Permissions settings, you may not be able to view the status of your site invitations if you're not a site administrator.
